Our History
A&C Metals was founded in 1981 with the intention of delivering small quantities of metal to local machine shops that had no ability to buy directly from large mills that usually sold in bulk quantities. With a strong, entrepreneurial vision to be a superior metals service center, A&C Metals grew quickly despite its humble beginnings.
As the business grew, space issues became a growing concern. Traveling back and forth between two small buildings brought about plenty of hiccups and slowed the company’s overall pace. To remedy this, construction of a new semi truck drive-through bay broke ground in 1997. The drive through bay connected the once separated buildings, and allowed trucks to be loaded and unloaded indoors. The efficiency improvement propelled the company forward into the new millennium, in addition to giving the building a much-needed facelift.
The aim of bringing the highest degree of satisfaction possible to our customers remains priority #1 for A&C to this day. This has allowed us to continue to grow, even in the face of significant global challenges. Today, we are proud to be able to showcase our brand-new office space and warehouse addition, bringing our footprint up to 60,000 square feet! We know these additions will propel us into the future and keep us doing what we do best: not just supplying you with metal, but giving you the best quality and service while doing so.
